Edit: I liked Rosie in Transformers DotM. She was a bright spot in an otherwise murky affair. Any problem that could be had with her, I don't have a problem with her, is not even her fault. Yep. It was her first movie, and she had like two weeks to get ready. She talks about it in that interview I posted above.
The better question is, why did they choose her, someone with no experience whatsoever? I mean, obviously she's gorgeous and has a great personality. But I'm sure they could have found someone who was an actual actress. Very strange decision.
"OK, we've got like 12 days until we need to start shooting, and we have no female lead. Let's pick this model who's never been in a movie before!"
