Despite what I hear a lot of people say, the power handling is fine, and the sound is excellent. It's a big upgrade from the Onkyo that I used to have, and gave away to my sister. It's the best receiver I've ever used.

Geary, the manual says it will upconvert through the HDMI channel, but I haven't tried it. Don't know why that should matter, the PS3 will handle that upconversion for you.
