As for the DD, it's good as it's a good soundtrack. I guess i'm spoiled on lossless as the DD struck me as kinda strident. Would be interesting to have heard it with a lossless track. Missed opportunity.

Agreed, missed opportunity. However, I seriously doubt this'll be double-dipped on blu-ray anytime soon, and with the PQ improvements and the $15 price point, it's enough to get me to bite.
Lossless is what I've become accustomed to hearing, just like HD picture. But I can adjust and accept DD much more than I can accept a standard def. picture.
