I was really spoiled with plasma technology and the OLED simply didn't feel like a huge step up. Plus, it was terrible for gaming, which I half expected but not to the level it actually performed. I would lose hours constantly fine tuning the settings and never being happy. It's the price you pay with early adoption, I'm well aware it was a first gen LG model and the tech is constantly being improved. I will happily reconsider OLED in a couple of years. I took a substantial loss when I sold it, but the Sony LED I now use provides a great picture, smooth motion and took limited effort to tweak out of the box.

Thank you for that perspective. I would like to hear more from you as you have experience with these various display technologies.
Having said that, I believe the future fate of OLED lies in the hands of plasma owners.
