This movie boasts one of John Barry's greatest and little known scores (in my opinion). It also has beautiful cinematography but has only been released in a shabby looking, non-anamorphic DVD.

The Last Valley is a film I'm curious about but have never seen. I think, if anyone, Twilight Time would take a chance on this one. It was an expensive failure at the time and part of the reason, I think, was that it dealt with a war that most Americans had never heard of. Like
Zulu or
Khartoum, I can't imagine it being a fast seller.
