Oh, I see. You came to this thread to puff up your "I'm superior" ego just because you want to look down your nose at people who enjoyed a film full of comedy you feel is low-brow.
News flash: There's not really a whole lot of royalty floating around in this day and age, so you can jump off that high horse you think you're riding and enjoy life like the rest of us. I doubt anybody would give a hoot one way or another if you actually decided to enjoy some "dirty" or "dumb" or "low-brow" humor.
As for me, I enjoyed Deadpool. The humor was frequent, topical, and spot-on. Great satire throughout. It's rare to see such great comedy surface in a film, but here we got it. For that, I can only be grateful, for the world already has too many reasons to be angry and sad, and far too few reasons to laugh.
What really grinds my fritattas is when I see yahoos looking down their noses at actually decent comedy. It may not be your cup of tea and that's perfectly acceptable, but there's no reason to act as if you're somehow more intelligent because you prefer one comedy style over another. All that matters is that whatever you pick, it makes you laugh, and if you're lucky it makes you laugh so hard you fall out of your chair. Whenever that happens, humanity gains another small triumph, and that should only be applauded instead of panned.
