Hi all,

[HCA] website is finally up. Well who or what is [HCA] you say? [HCA] stands for Hardcore Alliance. We have been in the gaming scene for about 7 years now. We started out in Half Life TFC (Team Fortress Classic) and played in competitive leagues for our first 4 years. We played over 120 matches, 200 if you count scrimmages. I have been the leader of [HCA] since about `99. My name is Roberto Garcia. My TFC name was "SonGoku" but now I go by the name of "consolecrusader." Of the roster of 20 or so (75 different members in total history) we have 2 left, myself and my co-founder and best friend psychoprentt22.

We decided recently (keep in mind we're hardcore PS guys) to start [HCA] backup in the console world. We have been console gaming since we have been toddlers but have never ventured into the online world. Since the PS3 offers such a great online network we could not resist.

What is our objective? Well our objective is not to be the best gaming PS clan in the world. Will we be competing in competitive game matches? Of course. As a matter of fact we might be creating our own Resistance League in a few months. But our objective rather is to bring fun to the console gaming world. To bring good times and laughs to games like Killzone 2 and Resistance: Fall of Man. We are not elitist and we do not act like generals leading a real army like some clans tend to do. We practice, we show up, we play, we have fun, we play our hearts out and that’s it.

So if you’re a laid back type of gamer looking for a clan that has leadership experience and knowledge of strategy in the FPS world, give [HCA] a look. We will be participating in the following games starting July 28th. But in meantime we will be building our team up beforehand.
