But, I've heard that many a 3D BD disc is region locked despite their 2D BD counterparts being region free in the same package. Is there any definitive proof for the 3D discs being region free? THAT is what the OP might be looking to find out.
My question is, why do they want the US set anyhow? These things are often far less expensive in European countries than the US.
