If you live in cities with different shipping facilities this can happen. Either it is in greater demand from where his movies are shipped or the facility has fewer copies to go around. I don't often rent many blu-ray, probably one a month, but the dollar rise doesn't bother me at all. Go to Blockbuster (not the online store but actual B&M store), they charge $1 more for each disc!
