Clearly some of you didnt read the official press release
its mention theres negotiations that Carpenter could do the music for the movie and even his son Cody could work on the music to! Carpenter is also a creative consultant.

Carpenter has already been enjoying a major career renaissance with the cult success of his two LOST THEMES albums, which in turn sparked his first-ever tour of live performances with a full band, including his son and fellow composer Cody Carpenter (who would definitely be contributing to HALLOWEEN’s music, if the deal works out). So it looks like the stars have aligned perfectly for this project.
[Note: Carpenter recently re-recorded the HALLOWEEN theme for a new EP slated for June 17 release, along with new versions of the ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, THE FOG and ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 themes.]
