Just watched
Our Man in Havana on Amazon video. What a fantastic film. I can't for the life of me think why it took me this long to get around to watching. Especially as I am a fan of Reed, his other two Greene adaptations, and also of Alec Guinness.
The picture was very sharp, even streamed on my 11.6" Chromebook screen. And the cinematography looked excellent. I'll be ordering the R2 DVD without delay to enjoy the CinemaScope presentation on my 40" television. If ever there was film crying out for a BD, this is it. It would make a perfect Criterion release.
