I can say as someone who was ready to make the plunge into 4K HDR this year that LED has come a long way. I've sworn by my plasma for years as the black levels and contrast were hard to beat at the time for any comparative model. If I had of had an unlimited income I would have gone with an OLED but I settled on an LED with a large amount of local dimming zones. Aside from a slightly more limited viewing area this set runs circles around my plasma in all other aspects. I'm not much on sports so I can't speak on the motion rate outside of some pro wrestling which looked really good. I still would like an OLED down the line once prices get a bit more reasonable, though I wonder how reasonable they'll be with LG basically being the only company invested in it right now.
