Up to that point, for years, we'd had the Five Disney Orphans (Robin Hood, Sword/Stone, Alice, Dumbo, and Three Caballeros), of the five most "unwanted" Disney titles that for a while were all that were available on VHS or broadcast--While any other classic footage had to be hidden away in excerpts on clip collections or Sing-Along videos.
Pinocchio was the first "real" title after the five caught on, but even then we had the Platinum style "Limited time" Fall-holiday sales.
(And anyone who believes we keep "two copies" of a double-dipped title doesn't know his history of Disney releases...
So, how many are actually going to KEEP their old '99 "Limited Edition" DVD of Pinocchio?)
