It's funny to me how they name them 'regular' and 'inverted' (sort of like 'goofy' and 'regular' footed on a skate or snowboard).
The regular connotation is based on a PC mouse thought process of moving the mouse up the screen, etc., but it is actually a 'learned' process of playing.
Inverted is actually a more natural process; however, because 'regular' is usually the default (based largely on up=up, etc.) people play it first and 'learn' to play that way.
Like 'goofy' and 'regular' you should see about a 15/85% split in the population, but the 'regular' in this example isn't the same as the 'regular' in video gaming, in fact, you would have to switch them around!
So much of whether someone is 'regular' or 'inverted' is based more on psychology at this point than actual natural reaction it's intriguing.
