I've been saying this for a while now in this thread and others. There's no reason we can't have both. Why does everyone need everything to be black or white, one or the other? Streaming and buying physical media fill different roles. Streaming is great for those that want to see films they haven't seen before, or for those that want to be entertained with lots of varying content without spending a lot of money, and for those that don't have a desire to own a large collection of films. Physical media is ideal for those that want to own their films for future preservation, those who value additional content like extras, and appreciate the highest quality available, as well as those who have a taste for older films and foreign films that are only released through specialty labels.

I currently have Amazon Prime for the free shipping. I pay month-to-month. Since I do get streaming included I do stream things on occasion. For instance, I streamed their original series Red Oaks in HDR to get a sample of HDR, but I found the show hilarious and ended up watchinig the whole season. But that doesn't mean I've stopped buying blu-rays. We can have both.
