I honestly don't think the first three films have held up that well. Road Warrior is the best of the three, but it suffers from an inane and inadequate score, dodgy performances, and a lack of momentum until the third act. The first film has a low budget appeal to it, but beyond that it's pretty straightforward and never really recovers from the incredible opening chase. Beyond Thunderdome is pretty lackluster in every respect and it's clear Miller's whole heart wasn't in it due to the loss of his producer.
Fury Road though, man, that's one of the best action movies ever made and maybe the best movie of this decade. I look forward to see what the Black & Chrome version looks like and what new features may be added. I know at one point there was a nearly three to four-hour cut of the film I think, so it would be nice to see those deleted scenes.
