Default Sony DAV-F200 and PS3 via optical cable

Hello,

I have a new Sony DAV-F200 2.1 home cinema which is fine for the small flat I live in. I also have a PS3 which is connected to my Samsung LCD via HDMI and to the above-mentioned Sony System via optical cable.

Now, my question is, what setting should I select on the PS3 audio menu with regard to the audio output? I was presented with Dolby Digital and DTS (both 5.1), AAC and several Linear PCM 2Ch with different Hz options and I really have no clue which settings to choose given the type of connection and receiver I have. I believe the Sony has some kind of sound virtualizer, therefore I was wondering if it's worth to pick the DD or DTS outputs, but at the same time I understand it only has 2.1 physical channels, so the PCM seems a more sensible option...

Can you please shed some light? Any help will be very appreciated.

Thanks

Daniele
