I'm trying to get 5.1 surround sound when playing my blu-ray disc, but no sound outputs from the rear speakers. I have a Sony KDL-40V2500 1080p television, a Sony DAV-FX900W system and play the disc on my PS3. I connected the PS3 directly to the receiver using an optical cable and connected the PS3 directly to the television using an HDMI cable. The disc plays fine and I get sound from the front speakers and bass, but there is no surround sound. I'm also using the A.F.D. STD sound field on the receiver. Any advice on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
