The silliness never ends when it comes to playing Hollywood movies within one's living room. One the saddest things is some tool getting his new 16X9 HDTV screen, loading up one of his fool screen DVD movies and playing it in stretch-o-vision mode on that new HDTV.

Oh my god bobby its so funny you say that, check out this story.
So my cousin buy's a 52" samsung a few months back tells me its awesome he loves it, great im happy for him. so months later i go over to visit and i see his tv, yea he was right it is awesome........or so i thought. while i was switching though to channels i noticed the PQ was kind of fuzzy and blown up, to my surprise he had his HD cable box set on SD content
i asked him why do you have it on this? he says the MONSTER hdmi cable is not giving him sound with the HD channels so he leaves it on SD. i tell him so why dont you take it back? he says yea i am( still to this day he hasn't taken it back) mind you he paid $100 for this cable and its not even 6 feet. i told him all about monoprice and he says oh wow thats crazy! im like yea! he still hasn't gotten around to getting those cables so it looks like im going to have to get it for him
so right now as we speak( or type) he whaching SD content blown up on a nice 52" samsung......sad i know but it gets way better.
He still doesn't even have a blu-ray player and he still buys DVD's!
He recently got speed racer and i told him do you how amazing that looks on blu-ray? i keep telling him to buy a ps3 but he tells me its still to exspensive. im like so buy a stand alone player, he says yea i am. i told him on black friday you could get one for under $300, he says yea im going do that........still no BD player
And guess what, he just got the dark night.........on FULL SCREEN DVD!!!!!! ohhhh i give up!!
