I think you should be fine. I've heard plenty of people getting things with their points when many were either bought or traded.
The only thing I've heard is if your trying to redeem a disney trip or something that high-up you might have to "verify" your points. I'm not saying that's a fact, just something I've read on different forums.
Anyway, you should be fine.
