Hi, I'm new to all this stuff and I was just wondering... is there certain speakers that pair better with certain receivers and vice versa?

I have the pioneer 1018 receiver and just bought some polk rtia7's/fxia4's/csia6 and im wondering if they would sound different with a certain receiver, or if my receiver sounds better with certain speakers?
