1. Personally, I don't think they're enough to properly power a room of that size. You may find differently, but while they're a steal at $199, they're still small satellite-style speakers.
2. No, the 50's will overpower the RM6750 center in my opinion. I can't say for sure, but I can say that the 60's sure did when I was in mid-upgrade. You can set the volume levels to help with that but... again, a full-sized speaker vs. a satellite. The surrounds for that could be ok though depending on your setup.
3. I personally wouldn't go with 7.1. There are lots of folks who love it, but I believe that money could be better spent improving the 5.1 setup in a room of that size.
Even with a set that big (and nice!) you're still sitting pretty far away. Maybe post some pics of your space and folks can help bring your setup a little closer? This could also help with your current speaker situation.
...sorry that my post has so many negatives in it, but I think you'll want to take my suggestions under advisement. The RM6750 set is good for small rooms.
