The 240Hz is a great feature, plus it's the only TV on the market to have it so far. But...Everyone I've talked to within the industry has told me that although the 52'' xbr7 will have that feature, it will compromise some of the picture and use a less efficient engine than the 40'' and 70'' xbr7's. I have even been told that the xbr6 (40''-52'') looks better. I have heard though that it will be great for watching sports, very smooth and responsive. Basically what Sony has done is put an extra frame into the picture, making it smooth as hell. I'm happy I went with the xbr6 for gaming and blu-ray content. If I was a sports nut I would consider the 52'' xbr7 (Imagine the camera panning down the field in a soccer of football game being extremely smooth) otherwise no big selling points. You couldnt just sell me on the 240Hz...
