Dynamic Contrast
I have a Samsung 40A650, I love it to death but have been messing with the settings a bit lately and had a question. What odes "Dynamic Contrast" do and why do all of the online tweaks I see have it turned off? I have sat there with a movie playing and switched it back and forth over and over again and it seems to look better with it on, especially in dark screens where it makes blacks virtually disappear.
Anyway, anyone have this TV or one like it and know why these people recommend having this setting off? Should I do the same?
