Default PSN Account Reset

I have an interesting dilemma. Actually it's not so much interesting as it is sucky.

I had a 60GB model just crap out on me, and swapped it out for 160GB at Best Buy with the protection plan. Problem is, my PSN account is already activated on five PS3s, including that one, and I can't download my PSN store material to the new one. Since the old one wouldn't power on, I couldn't manually deactivate it from the system.

I called Sony, because I heard you can have your PSN account reset back to 0, but the woman I talked to said it was impossible for them to do this. Has anyone else run into this problem?
