I watched it tonight (never seen it when it was at the theater). I enjoyed it very, very much.
Pros: Good story, Love Brandon Frazier, Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh, Chinese thematic, Yeti (Love 'em!), beautiful sets and scenery, loads of action and amazing FX. PQ is sensational.
Cons: No Rachel Weisz, the first scene with Rick and Evelyn at home was dull and lacked chemistry between the actors, not enough martial art fighting between Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li -- and one particular scene was a blatant rip off of a similar scene in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. I also felt that the DTS Master Audio track was overly loud in some scenes and it was base-heavy (my sub-woofer is still warm
).
Overall: Super fun and captivating. Just be sure to separate it from the first two Mummy movies. This is not a sequel. I am looking forward to seeing it again.
