Consider this: HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc both provide the same codecs, but Blu-ray Disc provides a higher disc capacity. Who can have the (potential) best picture quality?
By the way, I'm not sure whether you'd be able to see the difference between a 1080p movie encoded with MPEG-2 and a 1080p movie encoded with AVC/VC-1 on a 40 inch display...
Anyway, it seems it's a nice release and it sure is a good thing to release more movies on BD.

Yeah I know, but it's just that, T2 was released on a single layer 25Gb disc, so I started to doubt, that maybe it was using AVC or VC-1.
