Got my copy today from Amazon. Didn't get pressed discs, but I don't really care since I'm going to export all the new-to-disc cartoons as digital files to put on my external hard drive. I've done this with all my short films discs so it's easier to make up a program of cartoons instead of switching a bunch of discs around.
Disc issues aside, this is actually better than I expected. The cartoons previously released on Golden and Platinum sets are obviously from the same masters, but I see improvements in encoding on the ones that weren't upgraded to HD (like I Haven't Got a Hat). The GC cartoons tended to be compressed more. Here, the bitrate stays around 7 MBS and the discs themselves are maxed out (Disc 1 is 8.3 GB compared to GC discs staying around 7 GB)
