The stacked discs really isn't as bad as it first seems. The top ones can be a little scary to remove, but there's no risk of breakage. Often just pulling the edge from a different angle works wonders (pun unintended) and the disc pops out easy as pie. The big advantage is up to six discs can be kept in one normal Steel.
