After reading everyone's positive comments on the Emotiva Amp, I made the plunge and ordered the XPA-5 yesterday. I plan to have it connected to my older receiver, Yamaha DSP-A1, via the RCA connectors while I am looking for a new pre/pro. However, I noticed that the Amp has XLR connectors and I was wondering if that connection will provide better AQ and when looking for a pre/pro, should I look for one that has XLR pre-outs or will the RCA pre-outs worked just as well?
