Every time I go to use the HMV site it just dies on me, making it almost impossible to order anything from them. What used to be a great site has become completely unusable. Today after 3 minutes waiting for a spinner on a site that's been almost inaccessible all day after the payment page I got a "502 Web Server received an invalid response" which is a programming/server error. Have no idea whether I have a placed order or not. Pretty sure that whatever state the order is in they've taken my money and I will now have to spend more time on Monday trying to sort it out. They have now officially become even worse than Zavvi. And that's saying something!
