The original front brakes (rotors & pads) wore out in 30,000 miles and the 2nd set developed problems with hard spots on the rotors at the 60,000 mile mark. So on went another set of pads and rotors. Recently I took notice that the both lower control arm bushings are torn. Lastly it's the least fun to drive car I've ever had.

How long do you expect them to last? That's about the average lifespan for brakes IMO. Also, it depends how you drive the car. I had a BMW I had to change the pads on at at 22,000 miles!
