As my best friend reminds me, it was the nerdiest year in cinema. Being a 46-year old movie lover, I have fond memories of '82. I'm a big fan of all 10 listed and have watched them all numerous times from childhood through adulthood.
Day One purchases for me:
- Conan - one can dream
- Star Trek II - 100% likely
- The Thing - 100% likely
- Dark Crystal - 100% likely (NOW!)
- Poltergeist - one can dream
- Tron - one can dream
- Sword and the Sorcerer - highly unlikely
- Beastmaster - highly unlikely (just because it's last doesn't mean it's less loved)
