I would like to use the HDMI port for my cable box so I can take advantage of the HD channels. IS there even a noticeable difference between using HDMI on the box for the HD channels vs not using it? Any help is appreciated. Do they make a dual connector for HDMI where you can connect 2 thing into a convertor or something so you can plug 2 things into the 1 port?

Depend on the TV... you could always buy this :

it's a 2 in / 1 out switcher. My friend own one and use it all the day with it's Bluray Player and PC. and it's cheap
I suggest HDMI because you'll be getting a 1080p signal from it (even if you're tv is lower resolution) otherwise it's 1080i from Component..
