3rd party seems the same to me on connection. First party Sony dominates by a landslide with dedicated servers, no lag for the win
For a paid service it really needs to offer dedicated servers to make paying for worth it.. I'd buy a 360 in a heart beat again if they offered dedicated servers on every game with the paid service. For now though Sony is simply the best way to go.
Love the PS3 controller as well as my hands are symetrical. I'm fine with either though aside from the 360's dpad is craptastic as can be.. Seriously how hard is it to get a good d-pad, Nintendo did it how many years ago and MS still can't get it right
PS3's analogs have better sensitivity as well leading to more precise gaming and simply a better experience
For somebody with both I'd just buy whatever more of your friends will play it on. Aside from friends you will not have trouble finding plenty of gamers on either system. MS simply charges you where Sony provides fantastic online gaming for free out of the box
