Pretty much every studio (except perhaps Sony, and WB is probably 50/50) has been focusing more on recent titles with DI's available, and that goes double for a smaller studio like Lionsgate. The middle of 2018 finally seems to be the start of remastered film titles on UHD, so perhaps by the end of the year, we'll see what Lionsgate has to offer from the real "catalogue".
As for
Escape Plan, with Stallone and Schwarzenegger both, I'm sure it sold well on video (I have the Blu-ray) and probably did very well on home video overseas, as well.
This is a fun movie, anyway. Had it come out in the 90s, it probably would have been a bit better, with a tighter script, and a slightly more epic feel (similar to
Face/Off, which was, of course, initially to be Schwarzenegger/Stallone), but for a digitally-shot mid-budget film in 2013, it all comes together pretty well, and both men acquit themselves nicely. I don't know how I feel about a sequel without Schwarzenegger, though, and it doesn't seem he's going to be in it.
But I will definitely be picking this one up, as it's very easy to watch again and again.
