The sounds is only coming through my surround left and right speakers. Could it be an issue with the speaker wire? Or is it a receiver issue? I just attempted to dive out my first floor window because of it but only minorly injured myself. Help!
I dont hear static at low levels just at normal listening levels

There is no easy solution. To find the source of the static sound, you may have to disconnect all your components and then connect them one by one and check for noise. This also applies to all the speakers, wires, and cables.
