Probably my favorite island horror move:
The Mutilator
. The outer banks are gorgeous and this movie managed to make them feel cold, isolated and scary. The kills are legendarily insane and the '80s slasher vibes are off the charts! Also, who doesn't love that out of place '70s sitcom-sounding theme music that plays over the opening credits? I freaking adore this movie.
Island Claws
is legitimately one of the corniest, yet bizarrely entertaining horror movies I've ever seen. I've only seen it once but the entire thing is burned in my brain it was so ridiculously over the top and melodramatic. I need to revisit it soon!

So every movie in Manhattan counts too? And would that extend to Long Island as well because...
And "Amity, which may or may not be on Long Island..."
