I was also bothered by Strange giving up the Time Stone and the timing of Thanos getting it just before the final battle...that took away all sense of tension as it was obvious Thanos would reverse time to ensure the last Stones existence and that he'd get his hand on it. The whole battle then felt like a meaningless exercise.

Yeah I had some minor issues with Peter Quill's behavior in the final third act as well. He broke a promise on his mother and his word to Gamora, and caused the whole final death toll in a big way.

Yeah I was surprised as well. I honestly did not think he was even going to get all the stones in this film.
