What's most frustrating, though, is they include a 7.1 DD+ track that they could compress for soundbars etc. and even make the default track, for the people who don't know about this stuff. Some people in the past thought this is with Disney home releases but I found Black Panther cinema release suffers the exact same audio issues.
I also thought Disney is doing this intentionally with DTS-HD MA 7.1 tracks so that when UHD releases with Atmos appear, they would sound better and be an incentive to double dip but no, Disney Atmos tracks suffer also.
I have known the issue for years and traced it back to Thor: The Dark World with a low volume and dull audio mix. Until Iron Man 3, audio tracks were fine but after that, hell broke loose.
