I think there is a decent disconnect between your interpretation of what was posted and what was actually posted.

He called it "fairly impressive", not "great". Maybe there's not much of a distinction to some, but it sounds like more glowing praise to me using your word. I also didn't see where he disregarded anything. What I took from his post was that he thought it had issues, but still has positives, and isn't as bad as some make it sound.

Of course, some may put more value on the areas it's deficient rather than the areas he found improvements - but, some believe going to the legacy audio track is a superior experience to using the Atmos track. It sounds to me like there may be some trade-off, either way.
