Exactly. Game of Thrones is pretty much the worst (TV on disc) example you could come up with for "you gotta support this 4K release or else it could fail". Which is why I find the argument so tiresome.
Everyone could
just as easily buy a couple of these seasons and then they discontinue them anyways in favor of bigger boxed editions or the complete set. The only thing that HBO has proven is that there will be no shortage of additional future GoT printings. If you're worried about this getting a complete release then you haven't really been paying attention. People here just want other people to buy it so they can keep getting their matching individual seasons, or so they don't have to double dip later.
There is no risk that the show won't be supported going into the future. GoT is like Harry Potter for adults. It will continue getting reprints.
