The Blu-ray releases are nothing to write home about, and after watching some very good looking movies, they're pretty lackluster. They are of course better than the DVD's, but looking back on it I almost regret the purchase. Notice I said "almost".
Definent upgrade, but as Meeklo said, it's on the low end of the spectrum in terms of quality.
