It's not the tool itself I have a problem with, it's whether it's applied with taste and sensitivity. Those shots still have a genuine semblance of fine texture to them, even more so than the BD in several instances (which appears to have had its own round of noise reduction or black clipping in some of the darker spots, shadow detail is routinely erased on the BD). Still gotta see how it looks in motion for a definite yay or nay from me, but I'm very much looking forward to it.
