I played Death Race on my LG BH200 without issues. Be sure you have the latest firmware and driver. You may want to check in at AVS forum combo player sub forum since there are more users there that have this player and maybe able to help you.

*edit* Here's a thread that stays updated with known disc issues reported by other users
