dont know much about projectors, but the 46pz80u is good value at 1072 from 6ave, i recently ordered it... great deal..
or if 6ave has the 42pz80u for 845 its a steal.
or costco has the 50px80u 720P model for 899 and their 90 day return policy+ 2 year ( i think) warranty...
or u can open up a sears card and get 10% off the 50pz80u which would make it 810+tax.\\
i saw the 46pz80u and its stunning and the PQ is great.
as for LCD's cant really think of something great UNDER 1k...
only LCD that wow'ed me was the XBR 52" that was like 2200+ in frys.
