I spoke with Samsung this morning. The level 2 tech guy (level 1 had no clue) stated that the latest DLP tv's have 120 hz. He says the 120hz when referring to LCd's and Plasmas are to help alleviate motion blur. He said that DLP's do not have motion blur problems such as LCD's. I asked him about the picture quality difference between a 50" DLP HL50A650 vs a samsung LCD with 120hz same size and he says it will be very close to the same high image quality.

The 50" Samsung LCD is selling for around $2000 where I can get the HL50A650 for $899 at Best buy.
