This was an awesome movie. My life loved the book and was fairly certain I would enjoy the movie. It is a simply story in my eyes but it actually had a good bit of heart in it. The only thing I will really say is the movie plays itself in trailers as being more towards a comedy/rom-com but it honestly played more closely to a drama in my eyes even when you include the "over the top" moments.
5/5 for me in terms of pure enjoyment. Couldn't ask for much more. I hate seeing Michelle Yeoh as a mean b**** but she did it in a way that is extremely like what some Asian mothers can be like.
