Hmm but then I'd have to pay $400 for a 3-4 year plan, which theoretically, is more than the bulb costs. I am guessing I'll watch this TV enough so that three years down the line I will have to replace the bulb (assuming 8-9000 hours). It's not a big deal, if I can get 6 years out of this TV while spending only $1080 + $250 for bulb, I'll be very content.
