If so, can someone give me some info on this? I have Paradigm Monitor 11's and an Onkyo 805 at the moment. Thinking of upgrading to a Emotiva XPA-3. My local HT guy said bi-wiring (not bi amping) would lower the impedance of the speaker and thus hurt my receiver if its not able to handle the load.
